"complete" vs. notification of receiving report

"complete" vs. notification of receiving report

What is the difference between a school emailing me that they've gotten my report, and the word "complete"?  Does every school notify you that you're "complete"?  Is it on the school website or on my LSDAS account?

from what i've read and my own experience:

some schools notify applicants when the application is received and then when the application is "complete".  Complete means that they have everything they require to send the application to the committee for review.  I don't believe there is anything on LSAC/LSDAS that says whether someone is complete.

So - a school could notify you that they got your report from lsac but that wouldn't necessarily mean you are complete (deans cert, info not on the 1st report required to go complete, addenda required based on specific answers to questions, etc.).
