Late LORs
« on: November 03, 2006, 12:57:01 PM »
I know for a fact that one of my recommenders has yet to write hers.
If she wrote it over this weekend, and the letter got to the OLSAS by the 10th, will I be okay? I read on that other Canadian board that they said it's no problem if they are a few days late. How many is "few"? I will do my best to bug my recommender(s) now.. but I am scared to get an actual answer from the OLSAS because I don't think they'd officially say 10-15 days late is okay. :( :( :(

if it doesn't work out you should at least try hard to make your LOR feel very filthy... i mean guilty.

Yeah I had to guilt trip one of my profs into finally sending a LOR. He took about a month, finally sent it on the 30th. Hopefully LSAC gets it soon. (Not applying to Ontario schools--Ontario is far away.)

Profs are so f-ing busy.  I feel bad for even bringing up my LoRs.  That said, my one prof better have the damn thing done by the end of next week, or there will be hell to pay.  hahahahaha

One of my recommenders finally sent his letters to LSAC, which they received on November 1st. WOW! That's crazy. I wish I could read them. :( But anyhow, he probably sent them to OLSAS too... if LSAC received his letters a week ago, the OLSAS probably got it yesterday or will some time in the next couple of days. Phew.... I hope it's okay.

I have no clue. My recommender was so busy and even though we are supposed to be very close, I still find him intimidating.. so I couldn't ask if I could see it before he sent it.. although I did hint at it. :|

I have absolutely no idea what either of my recommenders wrote. They didn't offer to tell me, and I didn't ask. Ignorance is bliss, hopefully.
