Montauk essay option

So, I don't want to whine about my parents divorce, childhood in poverty, because things weren't that bad.

I like the Montauk option of discussing your current job. I work in a call center at a legal insurance company. I wouldn't plan on rehashing my resume. I'd like to note the skills needed to perform the job well (communication, analytical, etc) and importance of attorneys.

Many of the schools I am applying to specifically ask for influences for law school.

Go? No go?

It's a group legal ins. company. I'd rather not focus on the company itself, but my skills. I am thinking about mentioning a specific person, their predicament, and how I assisted that person.
