What if my personal statement is a diversity statement!?!?

My personal statement is about how i might contribute to the school's diversity.. it's basically a diversity
statement.

For schools that have diversity statements, what should i do?

The credited response to the original question is to print out your statement and eat it.

You can not digest that well. Plus it is more useful as a DS than a night snack.

My PS is a DS.  The prompt of my 1st choice is more of a DS than a PS, so I only am writing a DS.  All the other schools get a DS for a PS.  
Perhaps not the wisest move, but I think it can work.  
Aren't most PS prompts just asking you to tell about yourself?...Well, you're telling them about yourself!
And as always, I'll conclude by saying that I am just another applicant who doesn't know much about this, so you shouldn't trust my advice too much.

I'm in the same boat, and decided not to put it on the back burner and write a different PS for schools offering a diversity essay because my Diversity-ish PS is very strong and I want to put my best story first. Plus, I think they'll appreciate having one less essay to read. In my opinion, too many people write diversity essays just to do it, and I think admissions officers see through that. Quality, not quantity.

My personal statement could have been a diversity statement and my diversity statement could have been a personal statement.  I don't see what the problem is unless you've got NOTHING else to talk about.  If that is the case, I echo the other suggestions to retitle your PS as a DS and come up with something else for a PS.

Schools ask you to write about yourself.  And if diversity issues are a big part of who you are I wouldn't change it.
