My letter was dated 3/3 and my file was complete 2/27.

Today (3/13), I got my scholarship letter from San Diego - I got a $15,000 non-renewable merit scholarship... I'm not too happy about the non-renewable.  It didn't even say it'd be renewed if I was in the top 10% or anything - it just said that similar (or better) scholarships would be available to award stellar academic achievement. 

What do you think?

I got a full scholarship + books to Loyola with a 166/3.46 (harvard)/10yrs WE

I also got into UCLA, still waiting to hear from USC.

Here's something about the Loyola scholarships. My letter said I'd have to maintain an 85.0 average which the dean there told me is "like a B/B+". This isn't quite true. I was on campus & spoke to a student, who said that Loyola uses a slightly weird grading curve --- it's on a scale of 100 but to get an 85 you pretty much need to be in the top 15% of the class.

thats intersting my Loyola scholrship says I need to have an average of 84.00.  I wonder why the different numbers, and how significant the difference is between the two.

I received 90% from USD renewable for three years (at varying amounts based on class standing). Both USC and USD required filling out an application after admission. I am still waiting to hear about $ from USC. I thought I would jump at USC if accepted, but the money from USD is tough to pass on.
