3.15 GPA in History, minor in Sociology
165 LSAT
played 4 years Division I Water Polo on a top ten team
good community service record.

I think its strange that I got an offer from Loyola, but nothing from Whittier and Pepperdine which are ranked lower

I'm in at USD as of yesterday, but according to the financial aid department, merit scholarships don't come with your acceptance package.  So, I'm kind of still on edge.  I'm hoping I'll hear soon.  Did your Loyola $$ come with your acceptance?

My numbers are 3.2/167, so hopefully I can get a full ride to USD - man, that would be SO sweet!

my scholarship came with my acceptance.

I am pretty sure USD doesn't give out full scholarships, but they will go as high as 90% of tuition.

Good Luck

According to US News & World Reports data about San Diego, about 410 students (37% of all students) got some kind of grant.  Out of those 410, 100 got less-than-half tuition scholarships, 250 got more-than-half but less-than-full tuition scholarships, about 40 got full scholarships and about 20 got MORE than full scholarships!

youre probably right about USD, but I did hear the 90% number from a student there, maybe it was a miscommunication, good luck anyhow
