I'm sorry.. I'm probably asking a really stupid question, but what's an REI?

REI is the name of a national sporting goods retailerI would say more outdoorsy than sports. Hiking, biking, kayaking all that type of thing. CLothes and equipment. Its also a cooperative- so all memebers hold a share.
I'm going to stare anxiously at the screen while I obsessively switch back and forth between LSD, LSN, and LSAC while I eat tons of cookies...TONS AND TONS of cookies!!!
Quote from: shannysor on November 02, 2006, 12:02:48 PMI'm thinking about getting a part-time job as a waitress so I can have some extra cash to pay for applications and things. I haven't been a waitress since high school. The memory of it must be quite dim, since I'm planning on putting myself through that torture again. Also, the boyfriend felt very neglected while I was studying for the LSAT and putting my app packages together, so I have to pay more attention to him now. I can't imagine how he's going to feel when I move away for law school! I thought about waitressing (I used to do it in college), but then I remembered that while the $$$ is good, it is so exhausting and the people who work in restaurants can be a bit shady. It's up to you, but I'd go for a retail job at a clothing store you love, a book store, REI, etc. or spending time at a PT job somewhere you'd enjoy hanging out. Don't torture your body with serving!

I'll be studying for my STEP course that I was supposed to start months ago, working at my regular job, maybe getting a part time job as a hostess, start exercising again, talk to family/friends/bf without mentioning law school in every other sentence.
