What do YOU think?
« on: November 01, 2006, 10:27:06 PM »
Ok guys- another please help me thread- I am applying to Case Western

Case's stats:
LSAT median- 158 (25%-157)
GPA median- 3.57

My stats:
Highest LSAT- 156 (they take highest, my lower score was a 146 last year)
GPA- 3.71 (3.94 degree)

I know of at least one other person on here with eerily close numbers also applying- and were a bit nervous...any thoughts guys?

Looks like a pretty big reach. You're lower than the 25%, and your GPA isn't over the 75% (is it?)

Oops, sorry- no actually that 3.57 was the 75% gpa, not the median.  So yeah I'm over that one.  I know in the last 4 years their 25% LSAT has ranged from 154 to 157, so in that context my 156 is their average 25% score.

Still probably a reach, but not an unreasonable one. Do you want to go there? If so, what's the difference what I (or anyone) thinks. You should apply to the schools you wanna be at, and hope it works out. You seem to have a decent idea of what your chances are, etc.

Thanks!  I am considering retaking the LSAT.  But I am worried it will just delay my apps at all my other schools.  I am also heavily considering CSU, where I have a shot at scholarships, since CSU is HALF the price of Case!  Gotta love state schools.

On a side note- can you even believe that the Cleveland Browns managed to beat the Jets??? I was at the game Sunday, and let me tell you I didnt see it coming!

They didn't win. The refs did. I called Mike Perrera to complain.

HAHA- you know, right before the game we were saying oh here's another losing attempt...I think I almost peed my pants when they managed to win!  That last touchdown attempt by the jets was soooo close!  I couldn't believe the refs decided on it so quickly...
