So, recently my family experienced a bit of financial hardship, which may or may not have resolved itself.

Issue: I am supposed to spend $250 applying to UVic in a few hours and am feeling very hesitant. That money may become necessary.

UofT allows one to apply late, which I would do once the financial issue has resolved itself.

question: does anyone know if this is an acceptable reason to delay application, or if I need to bring on the scary, interest accruing debt?

I should have asked the admin office, I know, but this problem appeared quite suddenly and has thrown me off track.

I feel stupid writing this, but hopefully someone has definitive information. 3 hours to go!

This doesn't answer your question, but, for future applications, try to obtain fee waivers from schools.
