Make sure you vote NO to affirmative action. the law is worded so that if you vote yes you are saying that you want to get rid of affirmative action. i can't remember the exact wording but it says something like affirmative action provides these benefits to these people do you want to get rid of this program...they know black folks dont read so they are hoping everyone just checks yes PAY ATTENTION...dont let Plymouth Rock land on you...
...man, you was who you was before you got here

In general, I think you should get the ballot questions and read them ahead of time anyway, no?   :-\

You guys should really see this:

AMERICAN BLACKOUT (documentary)

Many have heard of the alleged voting irregularities that occurred during the presidential elections of 2000 and 2004. Until now, these incidents have gone under- reported and are commonly written-off as insignificant rumors or unintentional mishaps resulting from an overburdened election system.

American Blackout chronicles the recurring patterns of voter disenfranchisement from Florida 2000 to Ohio 2004 while following the story of Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. Mckinney not only took an active role investigating these election debacles, but has found herself in the middle of her own after publicly questioning the Bush Administration about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

that's exactly what happened in Cali with Prop 209.  The majority of the people who voted for Prop 209 actualy thought that they were voting to support affirmative action instead of doing away with it, which is what ended up happening.
