GPA Question

GPA Question

I attended a school for two years that does not use the +- grading system.  I'll obviously have to send transcripts from this school to each law school but how will they evaluate my grades in relation to other schools that have a +- system?

I'm pretty sure there is a conversion chart on the LSAC website under the transcripts tab in the LSDAS area.

If the school doesn't use +/-, LSDAS just goes 4-3-2-1-0, only using whole numbers.  If a school does use the +/- system, decimals are used.

A + would give you .33 more points (A+ = 4.33 points, for example).  A - would subtract .33 points (i.e. B- = 2.67 points).

Hope this helps!
