Using fee waivers just for fun?
« on: October 27, 2006, 12:40:56 PM »
If you get a fee waiver but have no intention of going to that school should you still apply just to feel special about getting accepted?  Or is there also the benefit of maybe being offered scholarship money from that school and then using it as bargaining power with the school you really want to go to. Or could it back fire on you - the schools you really want to go to see the other schools you are applying to and decide to yield protect you?

Any thoughts?

It still costs $12 for an LSDAS report. Plus you may take someone else's spot at the school.

i think the schools keep offering seats up until the last minute to offset things like this.
and people are there to accept the offer and move up from where they would have attended.

What's your evil plan??

P.S. do you also post on lawstudentparadise? Because someone there has your same avatar, which would be an odd coincidence if it were not you.
