Do Summer starters have a lower median LSAT/GPA?

In my case, yes. but probably not true for summer starters as a whole.

My hometown homie here is far too hard on himself.

I have to say that the designation of AA as a breakfast pastry desert is entirely accurate. I've also found it impossible to locate a decent donut... do any of my compatriots have recommendations on this?

I mean, really... the nearest Dunkies is on the far end of Ypsi, I think.

But, on the other hand.... we have hippie hash.

Mickey:

Washtenew Dairy on Hoover and Ashley has goooood donuts.  It also has gigantic ice cream cones for $2!

Oooh, I must investigate!

Thanks!

thanks man, but just tellin like it is. speaking of the hometown, I was there today.

hippy hash is good, but there is an even better breakfast place in Ypsi, the bomber.

I don't doubt it. But anything in Ypsi is too far for my pedestrian posterior.

How's the old town looking? You didn't get to Arthur's or Jillie's, did you?

When do we find our sections out for fall starters?

We found out during MAP last year (meaning we got an email not that they handed us an unmarked envelope or anything).

Tetris, having lived in many, many parts of our great nation over my lifetime, I can say, with surety, that Ann Arbor doesn't have decent bagels.  Edible bagels, sure; I mean, if you enjoy the rough quality equivalent of an utterly average coffeeshop bagel, then it's just fine.  Of course, by that rubric, everywhere has decent bagels, due to the behemoth that is Starbucks.

Brueggers isn't that bad, and is certainly better than what you get at the supermarket or starbucks.  Also, Zingermans isn't that bad either; neither are a New York bagel, but they aren't the equivalent of what you'd get at starbucks, either.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the phrase "New York" bagel, but how 'bout this:

CLARIFICATION:  Tetris, speaking from purely personal experience, and having had bagels at the two aforementioned places, Ann Arbor has, collectively, the worst bagels of any place I have ever lived, except for one other (equally Midwestern) state, where I never had the honor of eating bagels, probably because I had no teeth.  Same for croissants.  However, Washtenaw Dairy donuts are pretty fab.

In Ann Arbor's defense, it is pretty close to Canada, and therefore within reach of delicious Montreal-style bagels. But I suppose if you're going to make such a pilgrimage, you might just as well make it to New York.

9 days until MAP.  I'm really not ready for this.  Is it too late to back out?
