3.72 GPA/ 176 LSAT = Top 4?

3.72 GPA/ 176 LSAT = Top 4?

Do I have a good chance at Yale/Harvard/NYU/Columbia with those numbers? (That is my cumulative GPA, btw. Do American schools go by that, or do they take out the worst year's worth of credits as most schools do here in Canada? With that procedure, I am 3.83)

My extracurriculars are not stellar at all.

Bummer.... Stanford seems really awesome.

So, do American schools toss out the worst 8 courses like they do here in Canada? When people say their GPA here, are they including all their courses?

Yes, we include all scores here.  The LSAC will also probably include the 8 that were not included in your Canadian GPA, assuming they're still reported on your transcript.  I wish I could have my 8 lowest marks expunged from my transcript.  I'd be a 4.0 no doubt.  Seems kind of unfair actually.
