169  >:(

ONE point higher & I would have been happy...but this madness.  >:( >:(

-4 RC
-0 LR, Pt. 1
-1 Games
-5 LR, Pt. 2 <----WHAT???! :o

 :'(

And I understand. I got a 169 in June and retook, and wouldn't have if it had been one pt. higher. Well, I got my wish. I got a 170. Lol talk about the least dramatic improvement.

yea i got a 169 too for bloody stupid mistakes... 6 points below my avg. trying to decide whether or not to retake.. but have 3.79 GPA from ivy school, might just let it sit. georgetown is my first choice...

First time poster, long time browser. I retook in Sept. and got my score around 6:00 tonight.

179!! (up from 163 in June). My best prep test had been 175, so I can't being to tell you how excited I am. I guess Kaplan paid off in the end.

Breakdown:

LR: -2
RC: -1  :o
LG: -0

Thanks to all of you for your support over the last few weeks and for the awesome PMs. How do you think law schools who still assess multiple LSAT scores on a case-by-case basis will look at my application (a 16 point spread is a little odd)?

Congrats to all of you and good luck for you re-testers, you'll do awesome in December!

I think they're gonna think you're AWESOME. And I think you are awesome because you give people like me hope. a SIXTEEN point spread. (Does this mean I could get a 180? :o) Dude how did you study? did you study at all for the last LSAT? What's the reason for such a huge discrepancy? I might contact you.. so embrace yourself. :o

I know everyone hates this question, but I'm sort of in a dilemma right now.  I've had my sights set on Harvard, which obviously isn't happening with a 172, but...

what about my second choice, Chicago?  What are the chances with a 172/3.75?  I'm making a decision on whether to apply now, or to wait a year to apply and retake in December...

a little insight would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't say Harvard "obviously isn't happening with a 172" -- hell, I got a 172 and I'm applying to Harvard. True, the 75th percentile LSAT for Harvard is 176, but you're still above the 25th percentile. And your GPA is pretty high.

Chicago seems like a pretty sure thing.

167 -- pretty disappointed.  After all this I finally mastered game only to throw it away on LR

LR - 8 wrong (6!! and 2)
RC - 4 wrong (a little worse than my average of 3 but hit was hard)
Games - 1 wrong

scored 4 below my average for a 165. I'm pretty bummed, but it doesn't surprise me a whole lot. Here's hoping for the UT resident boost!
