I am going into animal rights law, by focusing on public interest in school. I work for a national a.r. org. and want to eventually serve as legal counsel for such a group or gov. agency like the state vet board. I think that there is a desperate need for lawyers in this field, as it does not pay well, and is not very glamorous so those who worked hard to excel and complete law school do not want to sacrifice those things in their career.
Of course, first I have to get in somewhere!!
