PS v. Addendum

PS v. Addendum

Alright guys...my personal statement is finally starting to take shape...but I'm finding a fine line between what's being said in my ps v. my gpa addendum (working full-time, hardships at home, etc). I know an addendum should be to the point, my gpa was effected by X, Y, and Z. Do I go into an explanation of say why I had to work full time, etc? Or do I elaborate on that in my personal statement. My PS is about my college experience, mainly being a science major and why I want to go into law yadda yadda, what I learned from various experiences, etc. I've skimmed a lot of ps topics and it seems that a lot of people are writing about one specific event/person, does a ps topic need to be that narrow or is mine too broad? PLEASE HELP!
