Is Stanford out of the running for everyone, then? Or are you not including it? That guy with the 3.93/172 seems like he could swing Stanford...

Stanford's odd. Believe me. I'm trying to avoid random guessing.

Well, i just wanted to make sure that there wasn't some reason not to. But is that actually the highest ranked school i can get into? I'm looking at other places as well.

Thanks though!

3.9 Economics
167 (June)
Cancelled Sept.
Honors degree
two publications and senior honors thesis
White House Intern
Truman Scholar Finalist
Fluent in Portuguese
Student Govt.
Honors Think Tank on Genetics and Bioethics

Interesting. Let me think about this one while I do some others. Tempted to say Chicago at the moment

Look, this is kinda a tough one. I don't think that Chicago should be a problem. I think Berkeley will like you. Stanford's random, but I'd guess that they are your best bet in the top 3 .

In the end, though, I'll say HRS = Chicago.

Thanks for the thoughts.  I'm dumb though - what does HRS stand for?

Oh I hope I hope.  And if not, at least you got my hopes up for a few months until decisions start coming in.  Nothing like a good crash when it doesn't work out :)

Well, make sure that your statements and LORs are up to scratch.

Definitely.  My LORs (finally sent in) are good, and I worked incredibly hard on my statements.  I even thought my Yale 250 was clever (or I'm just trying to convince myself of all of this since I already have applied everywhere and can't change anything now).

Gotcha.
