I have gotten 2 emails and one snail mail from Duke:
email #1 file complete
email #2 we have made a decision and mailed it out today
2 days later - snail mail was the decision letter

hope that helps all who are waiting to hear  :)

Thanks for the information about the acceptance/rejection process.  I just got my "complete" email today, so I'm thinking I should have something in my mailbox by November 6.  I certainly hope so at least because the 7th is going to be a killer day for my final undergrad semester and I could use the pick me up of a response of some type even if it is "sorry, you're not good enough for us!"  It will somehow make everything more real and give me something to really focus on to get through the final weeks before graduation.

Still, I'd rather have a "welcome!" letter.

I had the decision letter in my hand exactly 8 days after I went complete.

Wow, that's exciting!  But with your amazing GPA and (I hope they liked your LSAT or I'm screwed) good LSAT, you were probably an autoadmit from the start.  The good news is that no one on LSN who has a Duke decision at this point has been waitlisted or rejected, so it seems that there is a significant pro-admission bias for priority track applicants or those with numbers similar to priority track applicants.
