A modest (but nice) house in San Diego, law school tuition, and another dog to keep my dog company.  Then I'll invest.

Buy a new car - most likely an Acura (maybe the RSX). I've been driving a slowly deteriorating '94 Chevy since 1999 and it needs to go.

Book a trip to Sydney with my boyfriend for a couple of weeks to show him around. Also stop over in NZ's South Island.

Pay my sister's rent on an apartment until she gets on her feet so that she can move out of my parent's house.

Buy a house in southeastern PA that will comfortably accommodate my future family.

Then maybe buy a few unnecessary things for fun - digital camera, flat screen computer, etc.

Invest the rest.

quit work, travel for a bit, then go to school full time.

A million... hm, I'd pay for the tuition in Harvard. ;) The rest will be deposited, I guess.

Buy a car, buy a condo in the building I'm considering moving too, give myself a shopping spree, take a fun vacation, invest the rest.

1. Buy my daddy a fully restored 1964 Stingray Corvette, candy apple red/removable hardtop.
2. Backpack around Europe.
3. Eventually, buy a house in a cute neighborhood (yellow with a red door ;))

300k in the s&p 500 for the next 20 years
20k on slightly used honda s2000 convertible
100k towards law tuition
500k on a house wherever i end up going to school
80k on living expenses/property taxes/whatever while in school

500k for a decent condo in boston. 40k for a sick black jeep, 160 for law school invest 200 then take the last 100 for a bankroll as a 5/10 or 10/20 NL holdem player at foxwoods
