Not much, I have most of my apps out, just a few left.  Greek Life has been taking up a lot of my time and I generally only have time to stop in and read and haven't been posting much.

When are you going to start sending apps?

What have you been up to/

i'm checking emails.

one of my profs said he would be happy to do a LOR for me
that was 6 months ago, still nothing

i emailed him a friendly catch-up email to let him know i just took the lsat and was planning on applying early decision before the UT deadline, just to see if he would get it sent in or at least reply

when i have my midterms, one of my old profs should be in the class down the hall, i am going to ask him if he can give me a LOR, and try to explain the short notice without dogging too much on the other prof, no need for that.
and i just got promoted at work, from senior systems engineer on the f-22 to a staff engineer on the f-35.....so, it's a little awkward to ask my old manager for a LOR when i know they aren't happy about me leaving, and it is also awkward to ask my new manager for a LOR since i just got there (hey, thanks for the promotion, can you give me a stellar LOR so i can leave next year)....but, no worries, a retired air force guy is also a manager i worked with, and he will get one out before the deadline

oh my god. i'd just call him if i were you. you are running up against a deadline. do you have another option to fill in in case he dowsn't send one in at all or on time?

you came to the right place...don't mind the rapier talk

I wasn't following anyway.  The thread got very confusing, and I don't understand what a cast has to do with a rapier.  ???

it's ok we'll start the conversation anew. trust me you don't want to know about the cast (regards rep. foley's "interests")

Okay.  I don't know too much about those anyway.  I just know they're all gross.  :(
