I'm glad I'm not alone.  :D

My nice is starting to wear thin.  Last night I actually posted, "bully for you.  You're a big boy now - no one gives a *&^% about your SAT score" to some new jackass before my better self took over and modified the post.

It just seems to me that the new users...well, frankly, they suck.  I pretty much find each one more tiresome than the last.  But then I have to consider the very real possibility that I've just outworn my welcome here.  I mean, perhaps I've just stuck around beyond my irritability tipping point, and the solution is for me to bow out rather than to shoot all of the noobs.  As gratifying as that would be...

Funny.  I still think of myself as a "new user."  I have to stop now before I write something that will have people thinking I lack self-confidence.  :)

Alas....I will be retiring from LSD for the forseeable future.  I have too much work to do finishing up my dissertation, doing experiments, and deciding if law school is really what I should be doing.

Best of luck to all of you with the cycle.  Perhaps I will make my way back around these parts after graduation.

We have recently learned that bucky rocks out pretty hard.

Thanks folks! Actually now I'm thinking I won't settle for anything less than a Kennedy or Prince William.

Why aim low?

Mmmmm...Bruce Wayne...sex-ay. I've always had a thing for the Dark Knight.

Ahem.
Especially Lex, whom everyone knows is one of the biggest flame/trolls on LSD.

i dont bowl well either. and it pisses me off. unlike miniature golf or pool or foosball, i do not find anything fun about how much i suck at it. my boyfriend is quite good at bowling. we went a couple of times together, but we don't anymore.

:D

I hate miniature golf more than any other activity. I would rather stay home and clean my apartment.

after 3 or 4 gutterballs in a row to his 3 or 4 strikes in a row, coupled with his insistence that i just need more "consistency" (Can't you see I'm consistently BAD!?!), I may or may not have thrown a "temper tantrum." My inner bowling gunner got the best of me.

demingh the gunner gutter bowler.

I like bowling if I'm in the mood.  I really like it at this one bowling alley that lets you put up the bumpers for individual players.  I put up the bumpers for me the last time and made hubby bowl without them.  We ended up with pretty similar scores.
It's been brought to my attention that boss is my favorite poster  :-*

holy hell, I can't finish my contracts reading because I'm compulsively checking the "steve's a flaming feminine hygiene product" thread. Whee!

welcome to LSD hell.
quote Stanley J. Watson III
you are doomed in the fated sense, but that's completely irrelevant because that's only from the viewpoint of someone who is not constrained by time. since you are temporal, for all intents and purposes you have the power to change your future

Congrats!  So does this mean you're going to SMU, or are you still keeping your options open?

/crossing fingers hoping we end up at the same school so we can torment all the "traditional" students except KCGF b/c we love her
