Some needs to upgrade to Firefox and use the gmail notifier.  That way you only need one window to lsd and use gmail at the same time.  I thought I was the only one who checked my email continuously.

Anyone here know about getting a BCL at UDM (Universite de Montreal) after doing their LLB at Osgoode? Or know anyone who did it? What do you think of the idea in general? If I stayed in Canada, and did not go to McGill i'd possibly consider this.

Well, if you are interested in that sort of thing, it would certainly be a good idea. But, as you hinted, going to McGill will be ideal for this. You also have other optionse like going to Oxford for a BCL. I know a girl who did that as a Rhodes Scholar immediately after law school.

I've got a question for you people. Has anyone applied to Toronto without letters of recommendation? They say they don't require them but I'm sure most applicants have 'em because most people apply to other Ontario schools that require LORs. I'm just applying to UBC and U of T in Canada so I decided not to have recommendations sent to OLSAS...was that a mistake?

The exact wording on the U of T website is: "LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION ARE NOT REQUIRED AND, IF SUBMITTED, WILL NOT NECESSARILY FORM PART OF THE APPLICANT'S FILE AT THE TIME OF REVIEW IF THE FILE IS OTHERWISE COMPLETE AND READY FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE." That sounds pretty good, but i'm sure it's still unusual for them to get an application without LORs...any thoughts?

I have no idea if any of my materials reached OLSAS. I'm kinda operating on blind faith here. Would be lying if I said I'm not worried.
