Schools that aren't accepting letters yet

I just noticed on the LSAC website that several schools aren't accepting LORs yet for this term (i.e., Yale, Harvard, etc.). Does anyone know the reason for this delay, and when they'll start accepting?

LLS, UCLA and a few others aren't allowing you to direct general letters yet, either. I contacted LSAC Technical Support last week about this and received the following reply:
Thank you for your inquiry to LSAC:
The school has not yet activated their Fall term. Please contact the
school for clarification.
The schools where this has been an issue for me aren't accepting apps for a few more weeks, so they may just be working up to it.

Unlike cattle!
They just mooove right along!
These schools apps are online, so it is frustrating not being able to set everything up yet so all you have to do is click "send!"
