how come when I hover my mouse over a thread I cant read the thread? Any remedy?

does anyone know how to configure the computer so that I can see the first sentence of the actual post?  all I see is the title; and I cant make my mind up to click on the thread or not.

Any remedies in regards to a solution to this computer technical problem?

oh, I see.  I thought that there was a program like java or something that would allow for this function.  I now understand that there is not - thanks for the insight.  ;)

I wonder what the chances are that the author of the forum will change this non-mouse-hover-preview function, or if it is possible to change at this point without too much of a penalty?
