I agree- I love Michigan. Apparently I can get resident status because my grandparents live there? I have no idea, but if so, the reduced tuition would be a really good incentive. Unless Toby calls. TOBY CALL ME!!!!

I am just scared of snow. 

I don't know what I'll do if it comes down between Michigan and UVa.  Michigan really is better for the areas I'm interested in, but then, my plans are subject to change.  But I am a Southern gal, and UVa is in the heart of Presbyterian country, too.  I don't think I could go wrong either way.

I figured I would rather go to Virginia than either of those schools and that I would probably get into Virginia.

You're a lock for Virginia Hank, definitely. Personally, I would choose Michigan over Virginia, I think - you get used to the snow after awhile. Plus, it's an excuse to find that special someone to cuddle up with, lol.  Besides that, though, I like the north

And yes, bidding war is one possibility.  But don't you think UVA would only shell out serious dough for an acceptance from CCN?  Plus I'm not a good bluffer.

1.  From LSN, UVA seems pretty consistent about shelling out serious dough for most people in our range.

2.  I don't know that I'd have the guts to email them about what the other had offered, but considered that the schools are pretty equivalent, choosing the one that offers more is reasonable, I think.
