Anyone deferring for a year?
« on: July 29, 2006, 08:14:26 AM »
I was accepted to LS, but ended up having to defer admission for a year. Has anyone else deferred and are you doing or reading anything to better prepare you for next year?

I've checked out LEEWS, Law School Confidential and Planet Law. Also, any good sources for financial aid, loans, etc.

I may defer assuming I first can get in where I want.  I am trying to finish up a deal that will provide me the money to support the fam while I attend LS, and if it tarries, I need the deferal.

Why am I doing this again?

I deferred for a year.  My non-trad status required me to do so, meaning I have a lot of things to put in order before beginning law school.

I deferred for a year- didn't do anything special to prepare.
