I don't get this desire to dress down in the first place. Wouldn't people have a natural desire to look as good as possible? Not just in the court room, but in your professional life generally? I know I much prefer to put on a great looking suit when going to something formal than trying to just make the minimum required dress code.

at work i agree i think its extremely unprofessional you're a grown up act like one. casual fridays were the worst things ever. on your own time it's fine but at work or professional functions no (especially not in court)

agreed

x __lacoste__.  You're a professional now.  Dress appropriately.  Learn to love dressing like one or be miserable for the rest of your life.

Here, absent court/deposition, we may skip the tie. But considering I'm in court 4/5 days, it helps little. The owner, now he skips the tie 4/5 days because he rarely attends court.

Your boss is very TTT.
