This was (sort of) being discussed on the Black Law Student thread, but I thought I would ask it on the Love Board anyway:

What is the male obsession with demonstrations of lipstick lesbian love?  (I assume the fascination is with the lipstick genre and not the dyke sort).

Seriously - I want to understand why men get so excited by it.  Do you imagine you're with the two girls?  Is it just two are better than one?  I really don't get it.

I am also not a fan of the lesbianism for show phenomenon in clubs.  I can't stand it when some drunk girl with bad breath tries to come onto me just so she can create a stir amongst the guys in the club.

What gives?  Articulate yourselves if you dare!

I've actually discussed this with both male and female friends. The general consensus was -

1) Men get turned on by porn involving a woman.
2) Men get turned off by porn involving a man.
Lesbian action (porn or otherwise): Doubles 1, eliminates 2.
