So I am going to Boalt in the fall of 2007(deferring for a year) and really want to try and work in the film industry as a lawyer ( not an agent or anything like that). Anyone know any resources available??

Join the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. They will have a table set up at the student activities fair when you arrive. Entertainment law is rarely taught, but you might be able to catch it once during your three-year tenure. You will definitely need to take copyright and trademark law.  Both classes are taught fairly regularly. Experience and networking are indispensable, so try to talk to other students that have summered at entertainment firms, attend SELS events and make contacts everywhere you can.
