What Do You Need To Go Complete? (A General Forum for Specifics.)

What about sending your actual transcripts from your universities.  These would be the transcripts that actually have the classes that you took on them.  I think this would be important if you took classes that were either hard or outside your major.  

My university charges $7 per transcript... highway robbery if you ask me.. it's just paper and ink people.. and I already paid you thousands in tuition while i was there for 6 years.. lol..

Georgetown and Penn also have an optional diversity essay.

Columbia has school recommended recommendation forms.

sending actual transcripts would be silly.  lsac sends copies with your summary report--schools will know what classes you took.

Also, it seems this thread lacks focus.  Is it stuff you need to go complete, or is it all the crap you could think of sending.  If it's the latter, I'll add zuchini bread and the soundtrack to big momma's house.

All the stuff you could potentially need to go complete.  This is a check-all list -- if something is potentially required or accepted and will be beneficial to your application, it is going to be listed on this thread.

Ya, I'm pretty obsessed about Boalt (it's my #1 choice) so I've been going over their website and application and I've never come across anything about a statement of purpose.  They are infamous for their 4 page PS though.  If someone can supply a link about a statement of purpose that would be great.

As far as these optional essays like Diversity Statement and Statement of Purpose, if the school doesn't ask for one is it a bad idea to send it? I saw some people on LSD that sent a full blown package of essays to every school whether they ask for it or not. Can anyone shed some light on this?
