Hi all. I'm aiming for schools in LA, SF, Seattle and NYC because these are cities where my GF is applying to graduate programs. Sadly for my pocketbook, that doesn't really narrow the list down too much.

Anyone else studying for the Dec LSAT? Tips? I'm retaking (took in October) and am feeling VERY over it.

Come to Penn  :)

I have heard that Penn loves the gays!

Is anyone else going a little nuts waiting to hear back from schools?

Does UMich not realize that by sending out acceptances on 11/13 last year they are now MORALLY OBLIGATED to do it on or before 11/13 this year?

Only the auto admits like you!  ;)

Lots of preptests is all I can really suggest.

Is that true?

one of the only two schools in the t14 that asks you on the app if you self-identify - so yeah, seems like they're pretty friendly to our kind - but honestly all the t14 cept uva and duke seem pretty cool with us (not that uva and duke are terrible, just their undergrads have a bad rep)

Yes, very much so. Penn is extremely inclusive and supportive. Aside from having a significant number of out/self-identified LGBT students, I think what's even more impressive is the number of straight allies who are actively involved with Lambda and sincerely concerned with LGBT issues. It's really great.

Yes--t14 minus Y and S, and then some safeties.

The same goes for Michigan.

Any specific reason why you want to take Feb?  I know you've put it off a few times, but there is Nothing wrong with putting it off until you seriously feel prepared.  Since you obviously have life commitments, I'd recommend taking it in June and just spend more time between now and then preparing.  If you bomb, you'll have September.  An ideal schedule is to take it inJune, and then spend the summer getting your apps together for submission in early fall.

Is there anything in particular you are trying to do with your law degree?

There are tons of schools in the SoCal area:
UCLA
USC
Pepperdine
University of San Diego
Loyola
Southwestern
Chapman
Whittier
