October 2001 LSAT --- RC Section 3 --- Questions 15-20 (HARD)

This is one of those science RC's. I tried it twice but still found it hard.

I dont have this LSAT on a pdf file, if I did I would paste it on here, I dont know if posters would be willing to try out an RC section on here though, so if you have the LSAT try this section timed with 8 minutes and 30 seconds. For questions 15 to 20, tell me how many you get right.

How were the other passages in that section?  I do not think I have taken that test, but I know that sometimes I will spend 10 minutes on a passage and do the other 3 in 7 each...so I end up ok.

oh you know what...I did that one in my Testmasters homework.  It took 8 minutes and I got 5/6.  It probably is a hard one though, because it is the last science passage in the book and they are suppose to be in order from easiest to hardest.

What was your method? you just read the passage and just answered questions?

I think so.  I majored in Philosophy and studied Phil of Science, so maybe that helped.

Hmm . . well I majored in Political Science/Pre Law, I read a lot of tough material and understood it, but the only thing is I had to read it like 2-3 times. These RC stuff leaves no room for that.

well the science passages that kill me use a lot of jargon.  I hate that one about dolphins and bacteria.

How many do you miss in RC?  I usually miss 2-3 a section.

Keep at it... I cut my mistakes in half and I still think I can get it to 0-1 a RC section.
