I want to give a bottle of wine, but I know nothing about wine. Anyone got any tips on something that isn't too expensive that is still classy enough not to come in a box?

Last cycle that I applied, I got my recommenders giftcards to restaurants near campus.

This time around, I'm going to pick up something with my future law school's name on it from their bookstore when I go apartment hunting out there next week.  I think it'll most likely be a mug, and I'll fill it with candies and perhaps a small giftcard like last time.  And I'll write a little letter that talks about the results of this application cycle for me and thank them again for being my LOR writers. :)

I got my recommenders gift baskets from Harry and David.

http://www.harryanddavid.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/BECHomePageView?storeId=10051&catalogId=10002&langId=-1

They aren't that cheap, but, then again, $50 is a small price when they played a part in getting you into law school, and top notch quality.
Going to as of now...USC or Fordham.
