Another frantic applicant.

I gotta ask y'all, I sent out several applications (mostly in late november). So far I got a dinged from UH (meh) and that kinda surprised me. Just thought I'd toss out my numbers and the schools and see if y'all think I should give up and go to a graduate accounting school instead.
164/2.95 (meh to gpa)-- decent school UT-Austin
double major history/psych.
2.5 WE (in a law office and doing collections for a bank while in school -- thus the gpa)
Tex Tech (4t)
SMU (1t)
Baylor (2t)
UH(ding) (2t)
UT (just for laughs)
Tulane (1t)
U-Ark. (both campuses) (2t)
W&L and W&M (fee waivers) (1t)
STCL (4t)
so send forth the decisions!
The thing is that that ding really shocked me... so will it be law school for me?

If I were to bet, just based on your numbers, I think Texas Tech might happen for you and probably STCL. Your LSAT is good (wish I had it), but your GPA holds you back a bit.

I think you get in at TT and STCL easy. I doubt you get in to the rest.

Actually later this same day I got my letter from Tech-- in with a 50% tuition scholarship. Pretty awesome day for me
Thanks for the replies by the way.
Side question-- whats up with W&L's fee waivers? I see lots of folks talk about recieving one-- I did too. Realistically I have no chance of getting in? Is this just a ploy to get more applicants so their acceptance rate drops and inflates their ranking?

I have heard of that ploy and it is very accurate in my opinion. But that's just my opinion.
