yep.  I plan on joining that when I get down there too. First thing. From what I've heard associations like that are more like a support system- both personally and academically.

I'll join one of the various student organizations, and then try to get some position so I have something to add to my empty resume.  I hear it doesn't take any time.  And I figure it should be obvious which one to join when we get there -- whichever group drinks the most.  Or has the prettiest girls.
