University of Nevada-Las Vegas

Did anyone attend UNLV and work in another state?
I'm just wondering how well a degree from this school travels.

I may be moving to Las Vegas and far as I know it's the only ABA law school in Nevada.

You have to consider the fact that UNLV was fully ABA-approved in February 2003. I think it only has two graduated classes; so if there aren't many people working in other states, that may be why.

Although the school is fairly new, it is a good school. If you're moving to Vegas and you really want to go to law school, by all means, go for it. The price is very reasonable: $7,000 for in-state; $14 for out-of-state.

By the way, have you seen the facilities? They are AWESOME!

I haven't seen the facilities. Next time I'm in Vegas maybe I can take a tour.

Yes, DEFINITELY take a tour.Everything in it is new. The law school used to be off-campus in an old elementary school, but last year they oppened the new building right in the middle of the UNLV campus, and I have to say, it's impressive.

Good luck!
