I play the guitar, but I also play the accordion. Those actually cancel each other out in terms of attracting people to you, so I'm left with no net advantage.

I play piano cause i love the instrument.  Guitar was a progression from that but I can see how hardcore players would be pissed by someone who picked it up so they could play for girls.  This wasn't the only reason i started playing ... but I do use it to my advantage from time to time.
 

but who is the hardcore player in this scenario really  ;)
