metric system?

I am thinking of practicing law in Canada, but I fear the metric system.  When I drive down the highway and see 100 km/h signs, I hit the gas to go 100 mph and get pulled over every time.  When I see that gas is 89 cents a "litre," I get excited and start filling up the tank, and then realize something is not right.

No offense, but if you can't adjust to that, how will you adjust to law school?

You can handle it.  Just think 5/8's

Cheeks:
yeah, i experienced the same thing when I was living in the states.  One good part though .. when you get a ticket, you just pay the fine and drive off.  nothing on the record or anything.

Anyways, I found the hardest thing was the money.  Your bills all look the same to me.  People would get pissed at me cause I'd be standing at the registrar counting my cash forever.  oh well ... things you have to deal with i guess

ps - 60 mph = 100 kph ... and the gas is pretty much the same price with free trade and all (cept your country has a habit of going to war over it and imports it a tad bit cheaper than other countries but that's another topic i suppose)

jgruber:
Hey, watch it.  Some of my best friends have gone to war over oil.   ;D
