I think that "nice" is only an act when people want to get something out of other people.  Otherwise, it's genuine niceness.  What could Stan possibly have to gain from being nice to other LSDers?

Amusement?  Could be schtick.  Some people here aren't sincere, they create LSD personalities.

A possibility.  But for tens of thousands of posts?  If it's schtick, most people get sick of it pretty quickly.  Witness the many faces of Dunson, none of which last for that long.
