Have any of you thought about getting a duplex when you go to law school, and trying to find another law student to rent the other side (or anyone for that matter, but I really wouldn't want a Ugrad partier in there)?  I've been tossing that idea around in my mind.  Then in law school someone else helps pay the mortgage, and once out both sides can be rented while I move on to bigger and better things.
Also, in this case I'm not planning on staying there long term, so I'd avoid King Matthies II's pitfall of being too attached and making bad decisions.

I'll be 33 when we start in September.  I'm married with two little girls.

I'm going full time and I'm looking forward to spending time with 22 year olds.  In a lot of ways, my age and work/life experience will give me an edge over them and I'd much rather feel like the old guy with the edge than to feel like I was the same as everybody else and have to worry about where to get an edge.  And besides, young people aren't so bad.  Of course they can be annoying, but they've also got a lot of energy and they're attractive - better than hanging out at a nursing home, or your typical office for that matter.
GPA - 2.095 (It was a long time ago and I wasn't trying.)
LSAT - 161

In - Suffolk, New England School of Law
Out - BC, Northeastern
Pending - Nothing pending . . . now what?

Good luck if you decide to go for it!
Thanks for all the tips!  I'll keep it all in mind as I look into the options.
I started looking at RE investing a couple years ago, but have yet to make the first big step.
But a large part of whether it will work or not depends on where I get into law school  :)

I served in the Navy for 28 years and retired last year as a Captain.  I use to track Soviet submarines on patrol and was one of the first women to serve aboard ships in the early 1980's.  Now I'm looking to start a second career as a lawyer - - should be fun!   :)

Okay, I want you to be my colleague.  Can I call dibs?

Seriously, where are you going to school?
I was referring to your intellectual penis. Which is quite robust.

Jolie is creeping up on me.
