no where did i say anything that would infer that we should strive to be like them, other than ben franklin who was a pimp, but anyways in ending slavery we amended the consititution, we didnt just saw ohhh blacks are now people too because blacks were never meant to be people when it was written, so we changed the document so that now slavery is illegal
