How Will You Kill Yourself, If You Don't Get On Law Review?

Seppuku (aka hara-kiri), or ritual disembowelment
Slit own throat with a rusty blade
Heroin/barbituate/other pain-free overdose
Drink until liver is destroyed
Encourage horses to kick you in the chest til u die
Hurl self into live volcano
Lie down in a darkened street and wait for car
Go to Florida, wade into swamp, wait for alligators
Drench self in lighter fluid and light a match
I will kill those who make law review
I will kill others until I am in the top 10% and make law review

I have been worrying a lot lately about whether I will get on Law Review, I'm just wondering if others are feeling the same way.

Is there anything a good bender can't obliterate?

I could reall care less, although I will try my best at my school's write-on competition. The way I figure, I am so lucky just to have been admitted to Penn that assuming I will be among the best and brightest (and thus qualifying for law review) is pretty slim. However, I am not going to throw in the towel (haha, towel), so I will do my best. If I don't get on, I will have one less thing to put on my resume, but a lot more free time too.. so I won't be upset either way.

I think it matters a lot less higher up the food chain. If I was at HYS or even T14 I don't know if I'd care as much, or at all.

Yeah, I definitly agree with that.

Yeah, I definitly agree with that.

...but I think even for T14 it matters if you are aiming for the very top firms.

It probably does, but I don't think I care enough for it to affect me. I'm not down for this whole "Vault 5" firms or "Vault 50". Other people can worry about it, but I won't.

You know, we're like two drunk ships crashing into each other in the night.  Yours is my favorite name.

Stop talking about drinking, I am still recovering from the worst hangover the world has ever seen.

Hangovers are your body's way of telling you that you shouldn't have stopped.

I didn't stop so much as I ceased to remain conscious.

Unconsciousness is your body's way of telling you that you should kill self.  HTH.
