Wow, what a stupid way to kill a promising legal career.  Unbelievable.
I must admit that I may have been infected with society's prejudices and predilections and attributed them to God . . . and that in years hence I may be seen as someone who was on the wrong side of history.  I don't believe such doubts make me a bad Christian.  I believe they make me human . . .

I would never feel sorry for someone dumb enough to do that. There are some lines you cannot cross.

As that guy proved, I think you mean 'SHOULD' not cross.

His roomies & their gfs should have cut him a break, IMO. The penalty is going to be rather more severe than the offense.

We each define an offense in our own way, and to our own degree, I suppose. But this guy was watching two unaware people naked and showering. Worse than that, he commited it to a digital file on his computer. In my mind, that's one of the most severe invasions of personal privacy that can be concieved of... whatever action is placed upon him, even up to expulsion, seems more than fitting. Until his issues are dealt with he certainly ought not be passing any CF review anyways.
