Better chance being waitlisted...October or December LSAT??
« on: August 12, 2004, 07:47:09 AM »
Do you have a better chance of getting ON the waitlist if taking the LSAT earlier?
My reasoning is that if you take December, your application must be even more competitive as too many spots have already been filled. Please help.

I think you need to aim a little higher...

if you mean getting on the waitlist as "*&^%, i only got the waitlist," than yes, you probably have a better chance of getting on the waitlist in december.  however, if you get your app in early (oct. 1) and they waitlist you early on, maybe you can take the feb lsat to try to get off of it.  only if you really want to go to that school, of course.

a lot of people, myself included, think next to LSAT-GPA-URM status, the most signiicant factor in admissions is the date your file is completed.  next would be WE, PS, LORs, ECs, etc...
