Just got this email from our favorite Julia around 7:15 PM EST:
Thank you for your interest in remaining on our waiting list for the fall 2006 entering class. We have received correspondence which you may have sent or which others may have sent to us on your behalf. Please rest assured that we have read that information and have placed it in your application file.
As for where we are currently in the admissions cycle, our fall class continues to be somewhat oversubscribed. Therefore, we are not anticipating taking any applicants off our waiting list at this time. If you wish to withdraw your application from our waiting list, then please reply to my email and I will withdraw your file.
Finally, we know that some of you remain interested until the very first day of classes. If seats become available right before or after Orientation, then certainly we'll make some calls.
We know this has been a very long process for you and we appreciate your patience. If you have been admitted to another law school, then we strongly encourage you to solidify those plans now.
Thank you so much for remaining interested in USC Law and we will have another update email as we get closer to Pre-Orientation on August 11.
