Waitlisted at USC

It is now May 27th, and I JUST got waitlisted at USC. Letter dated May 24th. I have until thursday to decide to stay on or not.

add me to the club.  from the looks of the other thread, there seems to be a fair number of us on the waitlist.

got the letter. but i got it the day before it was due back so i faxed the response form.

i'm waitlisted as well.
3.7 gpa and 164 from the midwest.
soft factors decent but nothing special

anybody have any info as to how many they may be taking from the waitlist and what my chances are of being one of those taken?

heard from a friend that the class is full and not a whole lot of movement on the waitlist is to be expected. looks like i'm outta luck again

i called them too.  the person i spoke to was extremely tight-lipped, and wouldn't offer up many details.  she said that as of right now, there was no movement.  she did say that that might change, but from the way she said it, it didn't sound likely. 

unlike other schools, i haven't heard of any anecdotal stories of people getting off of the waitlist at usc in the past.  has anyone here heard of such a case?
