specific reasons for specific schools
« on: August 12, 2004, 12:11:10 AM »
Hi,

I was wondering if it's a good idea to include, in your personal statement, your specific reasons for wanting to enroll in a certain school.  Unless a special somebody is circumstantially cut out to match up with a unique law school program, would the reasons be a rehash of the school's brochure?  Is it tiresome to base your reasons just on the reputation/excellence/uniqueOpportunity/faculty/history/location of the school?

Thanks.

I say do it if and only if you have something specific to say, for example a particular area in which they're strong.
