Unusual Expenses

Hi all, I'm about to apply for a grant given by my school. Within the form, one of the fields available is "unusual expenses".

Did anyone have a similar situation with their schools? What kind of "unusual expenses" did/would you incur and filled in?

Something serious like you were just diagnosed with HIV and your health insurance only covers half the price of the drugs you need.

Or your spouse just died and left you a lot of debt.

It would be for something bad that happened to you and you need money for that reason.
