Finally got the rejection that I was expecting today.  :(   At least I finally have closure and I figure I must have had something that was appealing besides my bad numbers that made them review and re review up until the very last moment. At least that is what I am telling myself.

I think perhaps you enjoy being said bearer, if in fact we were, as you obviously presume, not swift enough to come to a similar conclusion, unless you have(which I highly doubt) some inside information. However what you fail to realize is that some people have been rejected off of the hold list, so having heard nothing, they are perhaps waiting see how many people recently accepted, take the offers extended. If you have no vested interest in this matter, your thinly veiled attempts at "consolation" are not needed.

Well when you come off as you did, it only seems that you were trying to rub it in the faces of people who were not accepted. Now that you have made it clear that’s not your intention I retract my previous statement. It just seemed to me you were trying to rub salt into the wound, of people in a bad spot. Some people(me) have a great desire to attend FSU, and are stressed/agitated at the process. Good luck to you.

Do any of you have any input on FSU?  I read on another thread that UF is held in higher esteem across the state.  I have also heard that because FSU is located in the capital there are many more internship opportunities.  True/False?  How is the quality of life and the city of Tallahassee?  I am trying to decide between SMU and FSU.
